Classic Arts and Crafts motifs, intricate detail and rich hues populate our new fabric capsule, conceptualised and designed in the Liberty Fabrics’ studio as part of our collaboration with the William Morris Gallery. Adding another chapter to the storied history between our two brands, for The Art of Craft collection the designers have taken inspiration from May Morris - daughter of William Morris - a lesser known yet important part of the Arts and Crafts Movement as an embroidery and jewellery designer and maker. Featuring an entirely new print created especially for this collection of May Morris fabrics as well as archival William Morris designs and past patterns that were inspired by his work – this collection invites you to delve into the Arts and Crafts style which heroes nature and motifs created by hand, reinvigorated though the influence of a previously overlooked figure.
