KILIAN PARIS' L’Heure Verte eau de parfum is an absinthe-inspired fragrance from the brand's Liquors family.

Created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin, L’Heure Verte is named after the traditional French equivalent of ‘Happy Hour’ – a time when absinthe was served with sugar in a slow-paced ritual. The scent has a heart of violet leaf and liquorice root absolute, while the base of patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood provides an earthy facet to create depth. Designed to mirror the liquor down to the very last detail, the pale green-coloured liquid is presented in an Art Deco-style glass bottle, recalling the most fabulous bars.

Kilian Hennessy launched his namesake fragrance brand in 2007, after training with some of the greatest noses in perfumery and working for the likes of Christian Dior, Paco Rabanne, Alexander McQueen and Giorgio Armani. As heir to a long line of cognac-makers, many of Kilian’s scents are inspired by his childhood, recalling the sugar in the cognac and the wood of the barrels in his family’s cellars.
