The Maddox cross-body bag is a versatile and laidback daily essential – for Spring Summer 2018 it is intricately embroidered with our decadent Elysian Paradise design.

Iphis canvas accessories get a seasonal refresh in this richly opulent new take on classic Liberty styling. A limited edition and UK exclusive, each piece in the collection has been painstakingly embroidered with motifs from our Elysian Paradise design – a pattern of birds among Eastern florals of chrysanthemum and blossom branches, based on a hand-painted furnishing design from the archive. The Maddox cross-body bag is designed with urban life in mind – it features an adjustable shoulder strap that’s easy to sling on for fuss-free style, and a zip closure with hand-filled enamel detailing.

The Iphis range proudly follows our founder Arthur Liberty’s legacy of innovation and technical artistry – a thoroughly modern Liberty print, it offers a reimagining of our archival Ianthe design. The canvas-coated base was created through a bespoke process derived from our design team working with specialist technologies in Northern Italy. The fabric is woven, printed and coated to create a base that is both durable and vibrantly detailed, ensuring that our iconic prints remain distinctive and instantly recognisable in every incarnation.
