The Thicker Bottoms 2 Sharp Pleated trouser by Pleats Please are the perfect minimalist showcase for Issey Miyake’s innovative pleating technique. Made from a thicker pleated fabric, these bottoms are characterised by the sharp edge created by folding the fabric before pleating it. Pleated and practical, they’re complete with an elasticated waistband and side slip-pockets.

About Pleats Please Issey Miyake
Japanese designer Issey Miyake founded the Miyake Design Studio in Tokyo in 1970. Miyake quickly became known for his groundbreaking pleating techniques; using heat to imbue fabric with a ‘memory’ that keeps pleats in place. Pleats Please launched in 1993 as a capsule collection of Miyake’s patented pleating and today incorporates sculptural dresses, jackets and separates.
