Editor's Notes

Liberty’s Keiko silk chemise is designed in our London studio and crafted from rich 16mm silk charmeuse – a luxe, ready-to-wear riff on modern loungewear.

Our Keiko design is expertly printed onto silk charmeuse, a lustrous satin-weave fabric that combines a radiant sheen with intense colour vibrancy. The chemise has a streamlined and flattering silhouette, complete with adjustable straps. It is printed with Keiko, a hand-painted watercolour pond scene that pays homage to the formative influence that Japanese decorative arts had on the Aesthetic Movement – a celebration of the period’s exuberant eclecticism. Initial sketches for this design were created by the Liberty designers in the Waterlily House and Japanese Gardens at Kew. Style the chemise with a fine-gauge cashmere knit for daytime, or tuck it into a holdall for a slice of night-time indulgence on your next great travel adventure.
