The Beauty Drop Terms and Conditions

  1. The Beauty subscription and benefits (“The Beauty Drop”) is operated by Liberty Retail Limited, company number 42342, with its registered office at 210-220 Regent Street, London, W1B 5AH (“we”, “us”, “our”).
  2. Customers must be 18 or over and have a UK delivery address to sign up to The Beauty Drop.
  3. You can sign up to The Beauty Drop online at www.libertylondon.com (the “Website”) using the sign-up link sent to you.
  4. By signing up to The Beauty Drop, you agree to be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions, so we recommend that you read them carefully.
  1. Your subscription will commence, and a contract is formed on receipt of successful payment by us from you.
  2. Your subscription term will last for an initial three months from the date of successful payment and will continue thereafter on a rolling monthly basis unless cancelled in accordance with paragraph G.
  3. If you are outside the UK, the monthly subscription fee will be converted into your local currency at the point at which we take your payment and will therefore be subject to the exchange rate on the day of such payment.
  1. By signing up to The Beauty Drop, you will receive: (i) a quarterly beauty box (the “Beauty Box”); (ii) free standard UK delivery on all Beauty purchases; and (iii) monthly credit value (“Account Credit”).
  2. Over a subscription term of 1 year, the combined value of the Beauty Boxes shall be at least £300 (by the millilitre, if applicable), however each Beauty Box may vary in value and may contain small sized-sample products.
  3. Exact contents of the Beauty Box may vary from contents listed in marketing communications in relation to the Beauty Box.
  1. The Account Credit will be issued on the date of successful payment, via email.
  2. The Account Credit can be redeemed at the Liberty London store on Great Marlborough
  3. Street, London (the “Store”) or online at the Website, on Beauty products and services at the UK checkout.
  4. To redeem your Account Credit on the Website, enter your unique number on the barcode at checkout. Account Credit can only be redeemed at UK checkout.
  5. To Redeem your Account Credit in Store, present your unique number on the barcode at the till at the point of purchase.
  6. Account Credit can only be redeemed by The Beauty Drop account holder.
  7. Account Credit can be redeemed in multiple transactions. The value of your Account Credit will reduce as you spend it.
  8. Account Credit is not redeemable for cash.
  9. Account Credit cannot be redeemed against delivery charges, gift cards or coins, tickets to events, purchases in the Store restaurant or any special order.
  10. Please refer to the Website Ts &Cs on this page which govern the purchase of products from the Website.
  11. The Account Credit will expire on the date falling 12 months from the most recent monthly subscription payment received by us from you.
  1. To earn Liberty Collective points on purchases made with your Account Credit in Store and on the Website, you will need to sign up to Liberty Collective loyalty scheme in Store and on the Website using the same email address as the email address used for The Beauty Drop.
  2. Earning points on qualifying purchases will be subject to the Liberty Collective terms and conditions here.
  3. You will only earn Liberty Collective points on purchases made with your Account Credit and not on the monthly subscription payment.
  1. An initial payment will be taken on the date of sign up. Following this, a monthly payment will be taken on or before that same date each month.
  2. When you give your credit or debit card details you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card for the purpose of signing up to The Beauty Drop. You agree and acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment charge at the then-current subscription rate and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation, including where applicable any charges processed by us after the expiration date of your payment card.
  3. No payment will be taken from your card until your monthly payment is due.
  4. Your subscription payment will be handled by a third party. Please note, when you place an order for The Beauty Drop, the third party will securely store your card details so for us to take your monthly payment.
  5. You should be aware that where you have not paid us for your monthly subscription by the due date (“Unpaid Amounts”), and you still do not make payment within two months of the due date we will automatically cancel your subscription. If your subscription is cancelled, you may be able to re-subscribe in the next sign-up window. Due to the limited supply of subscriptions, we may not be able to guarantee that a subscription will be available.
  6. If you think that an invoice or any amount charged to you is wrong, please contact us promptly to let us know. Please note that any such cancellation by us, or any other failure or delays to exercise our rights or remedies under these terms or at law in respect of your non-payment, shall not constitute our waiver of our rights or remedies and shall not prevent nor restrict the further exercise of that right or any other right or remedy by us.
  1. If you return all or part of an order or purchase from the use of the Account Credit, or if we have been unable to fulfil part of your order, that was purchased in whole or in part with Account Credit, your refund will be in the form of a gift card, with any balance of your refund returned to your original payment method (except where you paid by cash, which will also be refunded in the form of a gift card). Please note that the proportions of your refund that you receive as a gift card and to your original payment method may vary.
  2. Any gift cards issued as part of a refund may be physical gift cards or e-gift cards that are provided by email. In each case it will be subject to the terms and conditions, including the expiry date, of the gift card as set out here.
  3. All refunds will be subject to the Liberty Refund and Cancellation Policy here.
  4. Where you make a purchase using your Account Credit, you will not be entitled to a cash refund in any circumstances.
  5. The contents of the Beauty Box are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged (subject to your statutory rights).
  1. You may cancel your Beauty Drop subscription at any time after the first three months.
  2. To cancel your Beauty Drop subscription after the first three months, please do so via your account at least 72 hours before your next billing date.
  3. The cancellation will come into effect at the end of that current billing month (unless cancelled during the first three months in which case, cancellation will come into effect at the end of the third month).
  4. This paragraph does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including, where applicable, your right to cancel your subscription in accordance with your statutory rights. To exercise your statutory rights, please contact Customer Services via the email address below.
  5. We reserve the right to cancel or amend The Beauty Drop or its terms (including the price of the subscription) at any time (with the exception of the first three months). We will provide you with notice of any changes to these terms. You may cancel your subscription in accordance with this paragraph if you do not wish to proceed with any changes. If you continue to use your Beauty Drop account, you will be deemed to have accepted any changes.
  1. We are the data controller of any personal information that we collect from you in order to administer The Beauty Drop. We take the protection of your personal information seriously. You can find out more about how we process your information by viewing our Privacy Policy here.
  2. Where you have consented for us to do so, we will send you the latest news from Liberty, including product launches, special offers and information about Liberty Collective points accrued on your purchases. You can manage your preferences, or unsubscribe, at any time by logging on to your Liberty account on the Website.
  3. You may receive emails or other communications from us from time to time which strictly relate to the service we are providing to you through The Beauty Drop. If you no longer wish to be part of The Beauty Drop, you can cancel your subscription in accordance with paragraph G.

  2. If your contact details change during the term of your subscription, you can do this via your account and it will take effect immediately. You will be responsible for providing valid contact details and for ensuring your contact details are up to date. If your contact details are not up to date then we shall not be responsible in the event that you fail to receive your Beauty Box.
  1. If there is any reason to believe that you are not complying with these terms, we reserve the right to cancel your Beauty Drop subscription account.
  2. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the sales process. We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform or comply with our obligations under these terms if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.
  3. We are not liable for business losses. We only supply the products for domestic and private use. If you use the products for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
  4. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products you purchase from us.
  5. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
