Crafted in 14ct gold, this daily wind watch features a gilt dial with an exquisite central chased and reeded floral and foliage design. With metallic blue spade hands and black Roman numerals, it is set in a cushioned circular case with gently convex crystal, original spring-loaded orb and bow bearing a fine laurel leaf detail. The self back has an engravable polished central shield against a complementing background and frame; it opens at the back to reveal a secondary dust cover. Complete with its original key, this piece carries gold date letter, import Assay office and registration number hallmarks – a highly collectible timepiece that will become a much-admired heirloom to be passed from generation to generation.
To wind the watch: open the back cover by depressing the orb button. Insert the key in the top hole and rotate in a clockwise direction until you feel a tightening of the tension. To set the time: insert the key in the central hole and rotate in an anti-clockwise direction to the desired time. Always ensure hands are rotated forward not backward.
