This radiant photo frame from L’Objet is surrounded by a textured sunburst motif with 24ct gold-plating.

Since the 17th century, depictions of halos, the carvings of alters and of elaborate monstrances – particularly in the basilicas of Italy – used gilded sunburst motifs to convey the enlightenment and glory of their subject. During the reign of Louis XIV, also known as the Sun King, many pieces of furniture carried depictions of bursting rays of light – a design tradition that is coveted to this day. This ornate, rectangular photo frame is plated with opulent 24ct gold echoing the classical sunburst style. Boasting a bevelled glass front, satin lining and suede back, it is built to house your most radiant memories.
