Emily’s preference for thoughtful, considered craftsmanship underpins the intentionally small batches of pottery carefully handmade from flecked stoneware clay on a pottery wheel in her garden studio in East Sussex. Each piece in this range of rustic bowls, vases and jugs has been individually dipped in buckets of unique, homemade glazes – note how each glaze is named after the seascape they evoke – and shows visible signs of the hand-making process that creates a tactile, one-of-a-kind form.
