Le Galion, the name inspired by the symbol of Paris, founded in 1930 and made glorious by the famous perfumer Paul Vacher (Arpège, Miss Dior…) had fallen asleep in the 80’s. More than 30 years later, like the phoenix, Le Galion Perfume House is reborn from the ashes. Back are the original, exceptional, fiery and subtle fragrances with a timeless quality made out of the best and finest raw materials sourced in the region of Grasse - rare luxury and refined creations for audacious people.
Launched in 1930 and celebrating its 85th anniversary, Le Galion Sovereign created in tribute to its founder; is a spicy oriental amber fragrance, that opens on spicy notes of pink berries and black pepper, developing a bouquet of rose, iris, myrrh, in balance with amber, patchouli, and a a variety of woods like oud, cedar and guaiac.
The first fragrance created by Paul Vacher in 1936, Le Galion Sortilege Elixir became the icon of the House Le Galion, worn by women across the globe, including Marilyn Monroe, in 1950 whilst appearing in ‘All about Eve’.
Le Galion Cologne is a beautiful olfactory interpretation of an imaginary meeting between Paul Vacher and Rodrigo Flores-Roux, sharing a cocktail and a cigar in the gardens of the Mansion house of Le Galion on a summers afternoon in the shade of blossoming orange trees.
