Rebecca Tana Lawn™ Cotton
Liberty Fabrics’ Rebecca is lustrously detailed and rich in colour – printed in Liberty’s Italian fabric mill, on our inimitable Tana Lawn™ cotton.
Rebecca is based on a hand-painted artwork from the Liberty archive – a delicate botanical combining trailing dahlias, morning glory, lilacs, marguerites and berries. The design is named after Rebecca Lasenby, the mother of our founder Arthur, and is rotary printed here with eight colours. Tana Lawn™ cotton is a fabric built by obsession, perfected into a modern masterpiece of production through a bespoke process that has evolved over a century. Printed in our very own cutting-edge Liberty fabric mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana Lawn realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Use Tana Lawn to create sleek separates, statement creations or tailored daily pieces – the possibilities are as wild as your imagination. Tana Lawn is machine washable and durable enough for daily wear.

For Autumn/Winter 2019’s Aesthetic Renaissance collection, Liberty Fabrics’ in-house design team drew inspiration from the adventurous life and artistic inspirations of our founder, Sir Arthur Lasenby Liberty. Traveller, tastemaker and gentleman, Arthur’s passion for globetrotting and treasure-hunting with his wife Emma forms the basis of Liberty’s enduring appeal. Inspirations swing from expeditions in faraway lands to the peace and quiet of English country gardens, via the opulently stylised forms of the Aesthetic Movement and Art Nouveau styles.
