Portobello Paisley Lasenby Cotton
Based on a Liberty archive print originally created in 1962, Portobello Paisley is a pretty botanical print featuring a multi-directional scattering of teardrop shapes filled with tiny simplified flowers – a traditional motif, reimagined in a contemporary way.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
Pricing: All fabrics are priced per metre length

The latest quilting collection from Liberty Fabrics is inspired by the historic epicentre of popular culture that is Carnaby Street, located just around the corner from the iconic Liberty flagship store. Drawing inspiration from the music, art and fashion of the 1960s and ‘70s, the collection reflects the free-spirited, optimistic mood of that era – influenced by the colourful patchwork that was painted on the pavement outside the Liberty store during the 1970s, with three colour stories designed to conjure hazy summer days in London.
