Papercut Petals Silk Satin

Papercut Petals was created in the Liberty design studio, using florals and plants as its starting point – the bold floral design was formed by cutting and collaging colourful pieces of paper together.

The design is printed by experts in Italy onto our fluid, reflective 16 momme Belgravia silk satin – a fabric prized for its lustrous drape and fluidity, along with its luminously high-shine surface. Construct it into eveningwear pieces such as sheath gowns, or use it to create opulently wearable daytime designs like wrap dresses and flowing shirting.

The Artists Garden capsule collection imagines a lush walled garden, hidden within a maze-like city – a sanctuary of green within the hustle and bustle. Bougainvillea flowers spill over the walls, and the air is filled with the sound of fountains and the scent of flowers. Designs include bold paper cut petals, with geometrics that evoke the tiled walkways between the plants, and stripes that pay homage to the parasols and decorative cushions that adorn the tiled courtyard where our artist relaxes with a sketch book.
