Editor's notes

Richard Ginori’s Pervinca candle is woody and aromatic, elevated by a subtly floral aspect – crafted in Italy, it is presented in a hand-decorated porcelain jar.

Richard Ginori’s Oriente Italiano collection offers a cornucopia of jewel-like shades and opulent details – a quintessentially Italian reimagining of classical Asian and Middle Eastern elements. The Pervinca candle (named after the Italian word for ‘periwinkle’) features a musky base of civet, ambergris and oud, layered to new complexities by a lush bed of woody-floral middle notes. Top notes of Sicilian lemon, birch, saffron and honey round off the full aromatic effect – light the candle to add an extra dimension of light and elegance to a favourite room.
