Ginori 1735
Oriente Italiano Flat Dinner Plate
£80.00
Editor's Notes
This flat dinner plate from Ginori 1735 is formed in the ceramics house’s iconic Antico Doccia shape, made in Italy and decorated with stylised carnations in a gleamingly delicate hue.
Ginori 1735’s Oriente Italiano collection offers a cornucopia of jewel-like shades and opulent details – a quintessentially Italian reimagining of classical Asian and Middle Eastern elements. The floral ‘garofano’ (carnation) of Florentine ceramics tradition was reinterpreted by designer Gio Ponti in 1946. Created using a painterly airbrushing technique, each piece from the collection is hand-decorated by artisans in Italy.
