Mono Gatsby Devoré Velvet
Liberty Fabrics’ Mono Gatsby print gets a soft, touchable treatment in elegant Devoré Velvet.
Our Mono Gatsby print is a large two-colour pattern of ultra-stylised English blooms. It was inspired by the decorative floral works of French Fauvist painter Raoul Dufy, translated here into a sleek modern monochrome. Devoré Velvet has a soft and fluid hand-feel, with a striking effect that makes it perfect for statement pieces. Use it to construct ‘90s-inspired babydoll dresses, fringed kimonos or palazzo trousers. The deep colour penetration and devoré technique of its construction results in a luxe, expressive interpretation of the pattern.

For the collection A Palace Garden, the Liberty Fabrics design team drew inspiration from the decadent glamour of Eltham Palace. A show-stopping confection of perfectly-preserved 1930s design nestled away in South East London, Eltham Palace is characterised by its harmonious blend of Art Deco interiors, medieval architecture and detailed Greco-Roman flourishes. A Palace Garden encapsulates its eccentric English namesake’s sense of traditional symbolism and Modernist style – expect prints brimming with vivid colour, rhythm and vibrancy.
