Charbonnel et Walker, despite the Frenchness of its name, is one of Britain’s best, oldest and most British chocolatiers – with a history curiously similar to that of Liberty London's. Established in 1875 on Mayfair’s Bond Street, the same year that were founded and just a stone’s throw away, the company has, like us, stayed true to its principles as well as its premises throughout the intervening 150 or so years.
