The collection is a beautiful exploration of the imaginative mind and skilled hand of ‘The Artist’. Original and arresting colour palettes pay homage to masters of the art world:
Rousseau combines the rich leafy greens, midnight blues and spicy tangerine of the artist’s imaginings of an exotic jungle landscape.
An obscure collection of surprising opposites, Gary Hume features rich darks splashed with lemon or softened with peppermint and sorbet shades, reminiscent of the artist’s juxtaposition of contemporary colour.
Monet embodies the romantic Impressionist movement with calming neutrals and soft chalky pastels offset with a hint of chartreuse.
Tones of cerulean, inky blues and sunset orange are contrasted with a selection of soft duck egg, plaster and dust rose in Hockney, a palette inspired by his 1960s Californian poolside paintings.
Indicative of the artist’s blue period, fresh clean spring blues are offset by terracotta and regal red on a base of delft ceramic whites in Picasso.
Meera is inspired by the eclectic ‘French Chic’ colour sense of textile designer Meera Sleight, featuring grown up pastels contrasted with navy, French rouge and soft greys.
A rich palette of Asian spice and saturated silk, Raquib Shaw evokes the opulence and intensity of an Indian summer.
