Kensington Park Crepe de Chine
Kensington Park is lustrously detailed and rich in colour – printed in Italy on textural 16 momme crepe de chine.
Drawn from an archival design originally created for Liberty Fabrics in 1931, Kensington Park is a floral conversational print formed by a meandering upward trail of branches, twisted into fluid ogee shapes and surrounded by stylised flowers, foliage and birds. Crepe de chine is one of the best silk bases for daytime wear – it’s effortlessly luxe, with a lightweight drape that’s made more durable by its matte, slightly rough surface. Try using crepe de chine to create a louche effect with wide-leg trousers and loosely tailored shirts, or with fluted sleeves and ruffled accents for a romantic feel.

Liberty Fabrics’ From London With Love collection for Spring Summer 2020 is inspired by eight epic love stories that have played out throughout our city across the generations. Muses of the season include creative London couples spanning from royals to artists, students and poets, exploring the way they met, the gifts they gave, the places they studied and the artworks they created for one another. The collection offers a journey though the people, places and spaces of London – a letter of love from Liberty, to the city that will always have our heart.
