Stine Goya
Justin Fair Isle Knit Jumper
Editor's Notes
The Justin Fair Isle jumper exemplifies Copenhagen label Stine Goya’s spirited use of colour and bravery in evolving timeless patterns.
Stine Goya’s Autumn Winter 2019 collection took inspiration from writer Truman Capote and his tribe of ravishing and eclectic Swans, the group of high society beauties he surrounded himself with at the height of his career. The pale ecru base and contrasting stripes of pattern were not selected by chance, but chosen to reflect an iconic 1959 photograph of Capote in a fair isle sweater ice-skating at Rockefeller Center. The influence of the ‘50s is apparent in the chunky knitting and high, ribbed neckline. We love this jumper layered over the brand’s geometric silk prints.
