Kojis
Gold Antique Lapis Lazuli Festoon Necklace
Editor's Notes
Dating back to the mid-19th century, this antique festoon necklace from Kojis is a one-of-a-kind jewel, set with deep blue lapis lazuli and iridescent seed pearls.
Popularly worn with low necked dresses in the mid-1800s, this necklace got its name from the multiple hanging pendant design that epitomise the festoon style. The necklace features five, graduated pear-cabochon cut lapis lazuli suspended from a gold chain with scroll tops set with white seed pearls. The drops are connected by a gold chain that comes together by a longer trace link chain – offering a royalesque-inspired style. Finished with a barrel clasp fastening, it makes for a unique and historic piece to add to your collection. Wear it solo with a low neck top or dress to show off its exquisite detailing.
