With headquarters tucked away in a quiet side street off the Grands Boulevards, a buzzing café in the Palais Royal and hidden meeting places all over the city, the duo behind French fashion and music label Maison Kitsuné know all of Paris’ sweet spots. Here, co-founder and creative director Gildas Loaëc opens up his enviable address book, offering an insider’s guide to the go-to places in the City of Lights.
Café Kitsuné at Jardins du Palais Royal – 51, Galerie Montpensier, 75001 Paris The Palais Royal are the most beautiful gardens in Paris…so let’s say the most beautiful gardens in the world. I’m spending a lot of time there on weekends, with my kids. And that’s also where our Café Kitsuné is located. During sunny days, you can sit down at our summer terrace and peacefully enjoy the best latte in town!
Anatomica – 14, rue du Bourg-Tibourg, 75004 Paris You’ll find a selection of shoes unlike anywhere else, the best cut of Japenese denim and the most beautiful knitwear.
Galerie Perrotin – 75, rue de Turenne, 75003 Paris Love my friends at Galerie Perrotin. There’s currently a great exhibition of New York-based artist Daniel Arsham.
Kunitoraya – 5, rue Villedo, 75001 Paris It’s my canteen. They have the best udon noodles. It’s super close to our showroom… I’m having lunch there at least once a week.
Clown Bar – 114, rue Amelot, 75011 Paris It’s one of my favorite place in Paris to have dinner or drinks with my friends. I love the charming and authentic circus-themed decor and the team behind it, Sven Chartier and Ewen Lemoigne from restaurant Saturne.
Les Bains – 7, rue du Bourg l’Abbé, 75003 Paris Join us at Les Bains for the Kitsuné Afterwork, our monthly rendez-vous.
