AW18 Accessory Trends

We highlight the most-wanted accessories for the season ahead

Shop accessories

There's a hyped-up retro mood sweeping across the world of accessories for Autumn/Winter 2018, where rich colours, oversized prints, audacious pops of colour and sparkle reign. From giant checks, to heavily gem-set jewells, here's our rundown of the most-wanted pieces for the season ahead. If one thing's for sure, more is definitely more…

Animal Magic

It's official. Autumn/Winter 2018 is WILD. Whether it's leopard, tiger, zebra or python - animal prints are leading the way. Boxy handbags offer up a '70s vibe, whilst a pack of graphic scarves are on hand to finish off looks with prowess.

The current obsession with rich rust and burnt orange hues has spawned a wave of textural, earthy accessories. Seen on everything from velvet turbans to tone-on-tone scarves, our favourite pieces are anything but neutral.

Check Point

Part '90s grunge, part Balmoral uniform, checks and tweed interpretations are BIG news for Autumn/Winter 2018. Pair a boxy print bag with loose, minimal tailoring, or embrace the clash by layering a scarf over graphic prints and florals.

Bright Gems

From Simon Miller's art-inspired enamel pieces, to earrings and bracelets loaded with sparkling gems, jewellery is set to take centre stage in the coming months. Appearing in a bevy of popping colours, there's plenty to catch the eye.

Adding a flash of colour to this season's sepia-tinged ensembles, covetable violet, plum and berry additions range from must-grab bags, to '70s-inspired wool hats and statement earrings.

Initial charms will never date and, for this season, designers including Alex Monroe and KC Designs are taking them to new levels - meaning you can wear yours set in diamonds, or entwined in sculptural blooms.
