The journalist Jim Bishop once said: "Autumn carries more gold in its pocket than all the other seasons." We tend to agree - the most beautiful season offers the perfect excuse to gather loved ones close. This year, we invite you to throw your own alternative harvest festival with a little help from the Mini British Food Hall - our curated selection of local and regional produce from across the UK. For a little taste of everything, peruse our one-stop-shop seasonal Liberty gift hamper: a wicker treasure trove crammed with artisanal fare including red and white wine, gin, condiments, tea, coffee and much more.

Harvest festival has its roots in pagan times, but its influence remains very much alive today. Modern-day revellers can nip down the road to Soho's Chinatown to eat mooncakes in lunar tribute (the moon is a traditional Chinese symbol of harmony and abundance), or head to the East End to see the Pearly Kings and Queens marking the festival with maypoles and Morris dancing. Here at Liberty however, we are celebrating the changing of the season with a paean to all things delicious and home-grown - offering a sensory stomp across the land with the very best and brightest of local British produce.

Our Mini British Food Hall is home to a food and drink offering that is exclusive to Liberty, made possible by the passion and expertise of the best micro-producers in the UK. The selection offers a virtual tour of regional tastes and flavours, including rare and unusual options not generally produced on these shores. You'll discover tea grown on the estate of Earl Grey's descendants down in Cornwall alongside coffee roasted by hand on a vintage 1950s drum in the Yorkshire moors, and even extra-hot Bhut Jolokia sauce created from chillies cultivated in South Devon.

For an alternative harvest festival toast, try a cocktail featuring our botanical gin, distilled in Bermondsey using an original 1840s recipe - or else a Bellini with a nip of damson vodka, made from whole wild fruit foraged in Yorkshire. Our packaging features designs from up-and-coming illustrators, making a truly beautiful addition to a party spread - so load up your larder with essentials to see in the season in style.
