Packed with fashion-forward finds for the smallest of shoppers, our childrenswear line-up gets bigger and better every season - and Autumn/Winter 2018 sees an influx of ultra-cool collections for teeny trendsetters. With a focus on independent brands, sustainability and creative, unisex designs, the founders of some of our best-loved brands reveal the stories behind their exciting new launches…

Brand: Tinycottons

“Tinycottons’ Autumn/Winter 2018 collection "The D.A.Y. Market" gives a funny insight into the groceries’ life. The line is inspired by the market theme where groceries, vegetables and all the market community are main protagonists alongside a rich, autumn colour palette and modern shapes. The letters D.A.Y. stand for The Distinguished Association of Yumminess, not so real but a very serious international movement for the defense of delicious living and a happy state of tummy.”

Barbara Bruno

Brand: La Coqueta

“No matter what age, children have such bright and distinctive personalities. Through this collection, I would like to encourage their individuality; from the budding artist to the studious academic I like when children are able to express themselves through dressing up. For this collection, it is all about the finishing touches, velvet piping, French lace trim and Peter Pan collars. We introduce texture in the form of velvet, corduroy, herringbone and 100% Merino wool. Prints take centre stage with fantasy florals inspired by a winter's garden, butterfly prints and our favourite winter check.”

Celia Muñoz

Brand: Caramel

“I wanted to explore the idea of special clothes that were handed down generations. Often these were the only pieces that families owned and so they really celebrated and went to town on them.”

Eva Karayiannis

Brand: Oeuf NYC

"Our Autumn/Winter 2018 collection brings gorgeous colour and the softest baby alpaca together with inspiring references to ‘60s art, icons, and ideals.  We love to play with cultural references, while always incorporating our favourite animals like bunnies and unicorns for a whimsical touch.  And this season, lots of beautiful fruit - apples, cherries, and pears, for a very fresh and healthy fall!"
