Editor's notes

This enamelware three-pint jug is created by Falcon with everyday dining in mind – a timeless icon of British design.

Falcon’s enamelware dining pieces combine sleekly minimal lines with a nostalgic sense of aesthetic familiarity, harking back to the brand’s 1920s Black Country founding. Each piece is created according to a classic technique of porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel, making them not only beautiful, but also almost unbreakable. Use this versatile jug to serve up beverages to guests, or fill it with flowers as a laidback interiors accent.

Please note: Enamelware may chip if dropped, revealing the steel beneath. This oxidises and remains safe for food use (while also adding a little extra unique character to your set).

About

Originally manufactured in the Black Country, Falcon's blue-rimmed ice-white enamelware has been a smart-looking and hard-wearing presence in British kitchen life since the 1920s. Enamelware is porcelain fused onto heavy-gauge steel. Which means that it is durable, does not burn and will not break if (when) you drop it. Since 2011, Falcon has expanded its range to include more sizes, designs and, most intriguingly, colours.
