A daily wind watch with 17 jewels for reduced friction and wear, this piece features an oyster dial that incorporates a square seconds dial at 6 o’clock, metallic blue cathedral hands, a dark gilt seconds hand and black Roman numerals. Set in a cushioned square case with convex crystal, grown-on angular lugs and original gadrooned crown, it fastens with an auburn lizard strap and 18ct gold buckle. Please note: make adjustments with the watch in your hand, not on the wrist. To wind the watch: gently rotate the crown in a clockwise direction until you feel a tightening of the crown, then stop. To set the time: gently pull the crown, rotate in an anti-clockwise direction to the desired time and fully depress the crown. Always ensure the hands are rotated forward not backward.
