Petronella Chintz Liberty London Print pre-dates the Liberty store and was inspired by an Oriental floral drawing from a 1820s Liberty London archive book. Persian style pinks and carnations were drawn in symmetry to create a medallion layout. This design was selected for the collection by world authority on Dutch doll and cabinet houses from the 17th and 18th centuries, Jet Pijzel-Dommisse.

The Chesham Cabinet collection is a Liberty London Fabrics interiors range of fabrics and wallpapers inspired by remarkable cabinets and dolls’ houses from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Inspiration was taken from a colonial Indian cabinet, similar to those sold in one of the original Liberty London stores, found in Chesham House in the 1880s. The cabinet has been re-worked into a cabinet house and used by the in-house design team to create thirteen new Liberty London designs available in a selection of captivating colourways and bases to bring the beautiful and magical world of miniature design to life.
