Belstaff’s history is as rich and storied as our own - and now the 1924-vintage British motorcycling brand is roaring into Liberty London with a brand-new collection and an exclusive, limited-edition run of its iconic Roadmaster jacket.
Overseen by Delphine Ninous, the forward-facing heritage brand is known its moto-classics and collection pieces, fearlessly leading the charge with high-performance fabrications and up-to-speed technical advancements.
“With shapes and silhouettes still heavily rooted in the Belstaff’s motorcycle heritage, each season sees the brand take on a distinct regional influence resulting in unusual yet beautiful fabric choices with unrivalled attention to detail.”
Belstaff’s SS18 collection is inspired by the epic adventure and journey of the riders from the late ‘70s and early ‘80s era of the Paris Dakar rally – fusing hard-working modern fabrics with retro sports graphics to offer covetable pieces that call for adventure.
To celebrate the brand’s arrival on LG, a limited-edition run of the Belstaff Roadmaster jacket has been created – and you’ll only find it at Liberty London. Featuring Union Jack and checkerboard Liberty print fabric patches on the front pocket and sleeve, just 10 collectable jackets be available.
“We are thrilled to now be working with Liberty London and to launch our limited-edition jacket. It’s a celebration of two iconic British brands, always reinventing fashion through our legacies, bringing quality and craftsmanship. I hope to collaborate on more limited editions for 2018.”
First introduced in 1981, the Roadmaster jacket was a bestseller from the off. Created using a process that has been in development since the 1800s and sourced from bespoke-to-Belstaff British mill, superior 6oz waxed cotton gives the jacket a breathable, water-resistant and windproof finish.
