Frequently asked careers questions

When applying for a job at Liberty, we know you probably have a number of questions. In order to provide as much information as possible prior to applying for a vacancy, below are the answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Can I apply for more than one position?

Yes, you are able to apply for more than one position with us. Please note however, if you are applying for a Sales Associate position we would recommend that you only apply for the department that you feel best suits your experience.

Will I receive feedback on my application?

We will always provide feedback to our candidates following an assessment centre or an interview. However, due to the high volume of applications we receive, we are unfortunately unable to provide feedback to candidates who have not been shortlisted for an interview.

Special Requirements

We know that sometimes applicants may need special requirements during the recruitment and interview process. If you would like us to make any adjustments prior to your interview, just let us know and we will try our best to meet your requirements.

What should I wear to the interview?

For retail positions, we will send you full details of our dress code policy with your interview invitation.

For head office positions, please wear smart/casual attire. Our recruitment team will provide you with more details.

Are all your vacancies up to date?

All of our current vacancies for both retail and head office are advertised on our website. We update our vacancies on a daily basis so please keep an eye on our careers page.

Do I need to be eligible to work in the UK??

Yes, you will need to provide valid right to work in the UK documentation, we will let you know in advance what we require.

What happens once I submit an application?

The Chat

No matter what role you have applied for, the first stage will usually be a telephone interview with a member of our recruitment team. At this point we will want to get to know you, understand your experience and reasons for wanting to join Liberty. Make sure you are yourself and prepare in advance so you can amaze us with some of your great stories.

For some of our roles we may ask you to complete a video interview. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills prior to coming in to meet us.

The Meet

If your telephone interview has been successful, you will either be invited into an assessment centre or to an interview. Here we would like to get to know you a little bit more, discuss the role in more detail, and understand your knowledge of our brand. The interview also provides you with the opportunity to ask us questions about the role and the business.

Don’t worry about finding our head office, instructions will be included in your interview invitation email.

The Greet

For some roles you will be invited in for a second or third interview with either a Head of Department or one of our Execs. This is another opportunity for you to ask further questions.

Final Stage

Here you will be notified whether you have been successful for the role and will receive direct feedback from our recruitment team.

If you have been successful you will be informed of our offer to you. Here you can also ask any remaining questions you may have.
