Editor's notes
Hera Feather was created by Arthur Silver from the Silver Studio set up in 1880. The studio was based in West London and designed furnishing fabrics, wallpapers and floor coverings. Hera was designed in 1887 and is a design featuring peacock feathers, a registered Liberty London trademark design along with Ianthe Flowers. The design was named after the Greek Goddess Hera as one of her symbols was a peacock feather. Hera has been re-coloured again, adding to the range of options available for this classic design.
